Let me be clear here – coffee is subjective. There is no such thing as the “best coffee” or even “bad coffee” for that matter.
Good coffee is what YOU like and what YOU think tastes good.
Supermarket coffee beans are good, if you like the taste. They’re not for me, but hell, if you like the taste of them why wouldn’t you use them, and more importantly save a LOT of money over specialty beans.
The ratings on this website are based on my personal taste and preference. I tend to lean more towards modern specialty coffee with a lighter roast profile that highlights the coffees origins. I’m not really into darker roasts or any kind of deep dark chocolate and bitter flavours. But that does not mean bitter coffee is bad.
If I say a coffee sucks on here, that does not make it a bad coffee. Remember, this blog is based on my personal palate, and what I think sucks you might love, or vice versa.
